Description
Prismacolor Premier NuPastel Firm Pastel Sticks features rich, creamy texture needed for blending and shading. That means you enjoy 12 vividly smooth shades with less powdery mess than traditional pastels. Perfect for creating illustrations or tightly rendered drawings, the pastels can be dulled for full coverage or sharpened to a fine point. For use both wet and dry, you can create decadent layers and shimmering effects.

I love these so much! They are vibrant and come in a lot of great colors. The thinner sticks make them so much easier to do fine details. I find myself using these in every art piece I make.

Worth buying for sure!
I love these! They don’t get all over your hands like a lot of pastels do. The color is vibrant . I used these along with oils to paint and draw with. All the colors it comes with are great.

Great for classroom use and beginner artists.
Super blend-able and sturdy with amazing color pay off. You can sharpen these just like a colored pencil and the slots allow for color organization.

Why stop selling individual Nu pastels? For years they were the only brand of hard pastel that I used. I won&rsquo;t pay for a set of 96 just to get the colors that I use most often. I simply don&rsquo;t understand this marketing decision and am very disappointed.
