Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for drawing anime My daughter is really into drawing anime characters. So when I got the opportunity to try this new said I took a chance on it. My daughter says the pencils work really well on her sketchpad and she came up with some really pretty drawings. My daughter also has a YouTube channel where she creates anime characters as a comic book and that first starts out when she’s drawing. This pack is perfect for anyone who likes to draw a sketch. My husband also use them to draw out tattoos recently. He is a professional tattoo artist and he said these are one of the best pencils that he has used.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan unfortunately I love Prismacolor products typically, but I am not a fan of this turquoise set. The sharpened pencils scratch the paper, as in it's not a smooth glide on the paper and that's really annoying in my opinion. The pencils come unsharpened, which is fine but other sets come sharpened and with a sharpener as well. As far as the hardness of the lead on these graphite pencils, I can not tell a difference between them. They all scratch the paper, and they're all the same darkness. Overall, they're okay but you can buy a pack of no. 2 for a lot cheaper and the same outcome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works amazing!!! I recieved these a few days ago and immediately went to test them out. I was so excited to get these. I just drew up a quick little picture just so see how they worked and let me tell you, they draw and write beyond my expectations. I can't wait to really go to town and practice drawing. I am an amateur but I love to learn new things and I am really happy to be able to add these to my collection. I definitely recommend these for anyone at any skill level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice pencils for casual drawing I am by no means an expert drawer...but I like to space out and let the pencil go as my mind wanders. Typically this happens when I am on a 3rd hour of zoom calls...but whatever! I have found that the led itself really has a long life when not pressing too hard. It's nice to be able to adjust the tone easily with these pencils and then see how it looks when the 3rd hour wraps up. In the last year, I've obviously gotten a LOT of practice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sturdy pencils, draw very nicely I got these for my daughter who is showing an interest in art, and so far we’re very pleased. They sharpen easily and don’t break off without mistakes being made. The lines they draw are smooth and even, a little wider than a standard pencil. She really made some fine art with them already, and this set should last her a long time considering they hold up well and there’s 12 in the box. The tin they came in is nice storage too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for artist. I got my step daughter (15) the Prismacolor Premier Turquoise 12 piece medium grade sketch pencil set. She loves them. She loves to draw and paint and told me these are the best ones she has ever used. Sketching is flawless without breaks in lines, sharpening is easy and the medium grade is the best one for her. We will be investing in more products from Prismacolor for her as she seems to love them all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sketching pencils So over the moon excited that I tried these Prismacolor sketch pencils. The fit perfectly in my hand. I can sketch for prolonged periods and not have my hand/fingers get fatigued. I am able to really control the shading of my sketches with these pencils. When I sharpened these pencils they sharpened prefect. I had a nice point with smoothness around the tip.the pencil container is a great idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a beautiful pencil set This set of pencils comes in a cute tin. You have to have a standard sharpener though because they come unsharpened. The tin isn’t bulky so it fits in a small purse along with my sketchbook. I am definitely pleased with this item. Prismacolor has always been a trust art supply brand in my home. I’ve been using this brand since I was a kid, especially their pencils.
