Watercolor for beginners
I love the idea with these pencils. It’s all about technique, which you learn as you go. Just make sure you are using the right kind of paper. They come in a metal packaging which is durable for on the go art.i love that this can be used with or without water. Make sure you have the right paper. These have lasted me a long time and don’t lose anything over time.

Super Pigmented
Wanted to try these as I have tried the water color pencils as well. These a great but definitely not the similar to the watercolor pencils they have. These a great packaging made it easy to carry around on my hikes. I like that the packaging is not plastic so more on the eco friendly side. The colors are well pigmented and I love using them for shading.

A high quality for a fair price
these are wonderful watercolour pencils! they blend incredibly well, and have a brilliant colour variation. Their packaging makes it easy to transport. They are lightweight and very versatile for all kinds of projects. I usually do not let my art sit out in the sunlight for long however i would say that these pencils have a good lightfastness.

A designer must have
As a designer, watercolor pencils is a must have. I have tried a whole lot of different brands, but this one got me. I have sensory issues and these pencils are just extremely soft to use, the colors are great, it blends nicely, and after adding the water the colors remain vibrant (which doesn’t really happen with some other brands).

Awesome gift for watercolor lover!
I got my mom, who loves watercolor, these as a gift and she LOVES them! The packaging is sturdy, there are a good variety of colors, and the pigmentation/brightness of all the colors on paper is hard to beat. Colors blend together well and the pencils have lasted for quite some time without compromising the quality they deliver.

These colored pencils are not for beginners these are definitely for avid artist. They will work for all different types of art, but they are a little pricey compared to Crayola. Blend smooth and layer beautifully
Purchased these as part of a Christmas art gift basket for our daughter. She requested additional colors that this his pack included. We both used it together and love the softness of these pencils and their superb blendability! Because they are soft they don't stay with a sharp point as long as oil based pencils.

The blending and application is fabulous!
These pencils go on paper like BUTTER! Easily the smoothest application for colored pencils I’ve ever used. What’s even better is how well they blend when using water to blend! The colors all pop and blend well. I also really appreciate the tin they come in, it’s sturdy and helps keep them well kept.

These colored pencils are so unique. You can use them wet on wet, wet on dry dry on dry dry on wet. They’re very versatile. They glide across paper very smoothly and I’ve had mine for two years, they last for a long time. The pigment is very rich, the colors are bold and don’t smear.

Great for watercolor beginners . Draw whatever you want and then use the colored in area with some water and it makes it look like a painting! Vibrant color but can be muted down with these amount of water you use . Tough pencils won’t break easily.

Great for mini model painting
These were my favorites to get small, precise yet blended details on my model horses (specifically eyes, on anything smaller than 1:6). A lot of other watercolor pencil brands wouldn't work when used on matte finish, but these do!!!

Overall great pencils!
These can have a weird texture if you press too hard and put water on top, and it can be somewhat tricky to sharpen. However, they are vibrant, blendable, and dissolve quite nicely. They need better casing though.

These colored pencils are some of the best ones I have tried, they blend so nice and smoothly. There are also a decent amount of colors. The tin package they came in prevent them from breaking.

Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. This can happen if the pencil strokes aren't fully blended when water is applied, or if the pencil pressure was uneven. Here are a few tips to help improve the blending and reduce the visibility of lines: Light Layering: Apply color in light, even layers. This helps avoid leaving deep lines or ridges in the paper, making blending with water easier. Blending Techniques: After applying the pencil, use a clean, damp brush to blend the color. Gently work the water over the pencil marks in a circular motion to soften the lines and achieve smooth gradients. Don&rsquo;t oversaturate the brush with water; too much can leave streaks or cause uneven blending. Pre-wetting the Paper: For a smoother wash, lightly wet the paper before applying the colored pencil. This helps the color dissolve more evenly, preventing noticeable lines. Use Soft Pressure: When applying the pencil, use soft, consistent pressure to create a uniform layer of color. Pressing too hard can embed lines into the paper, making it harder to blend them out. If you continue to see noticeable lines after blending, it could also be related to the texture of your watercolor paper (cold press paper has more texture, while hot press paper is smoother and might result in fewer visible lines). Clayart: sometime you can find buy/sell/trade groups on Facebook that are very specific - for instance I was in one that was mostly focused on Blackwing pencils. Try searching there - I haven't- or even start a group and make it public. Very easy to do on FB. Good luck!
