Vibrant colors, solid pencils
I bought these for my kids and the colors are great. Very vibrant, the tin it comes in is nice and they seem to be enjoying them. Sturdy and well made pencils, sometimes I try to go cheap on the art supplies because the kids go through it quickly but it definitely made a difference to get these high quality colored pencils. The kids didn't have to press down as hard to make the colors show up well and overall just a quality product. I'll definitely purchase from prismacolor again. I got both the under the seal and the landscape colors so my kids could each have a set and not fight over them.

Great for shading
I got the Prismacolor 23 Count Colored Pencil Set -Manga . These are the most vibrant colored pencils I have ever used. They are the perfect size. I love how comfortable they fit in my hand. I can use them for extended periods and not have my hand/fingers cramp . These colored pencils glide so smoothly on the paper. I am able to make great shading (colors) with these pencils. I absolutely love these colored pencils . I would definitely recommend these colored pencils to anybody looking for a really great set that don’t break the bank . I will absolutely be buying me some more of these set for me and my kids who love to color . These colored pencils definitely bring your art piece to the next level.

Great product.
Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils is called Under The Sea. The come in a pack of 12. The Under The Sea colored pencils are the colors you will find in the bottom of the ocean which is cool. I absolutely love the ocean & the sea animals so I was really excited for this set of pencils. They are very bright & beautiful colors. They are just like regular colored pencils, you can draw and color them with anything. You don’t specifically have to use the colors for sea pictures, just get creative & color your own way using the Under the Sea pencils. They come in a little tin so they can stay in perfect condition & plus it’s perfect for traveling. It’s very lightweight as well. I highly recommend this product.

Superb Colors
I received a sample of a Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Set, 0.7mm, Soft Core, Landscape, Set Of 12 Pencils in exchange for my honest review.
These colored pencils have superb color and are so easy to use. The pencils are light, fit your hand well and have wonderful coverage with minimal pressure. I have many different artistic projects that I want the best color choices for and these fit the bill perfectly! It's easy to let your imagination soar when you have superior products available to help you create beautiful projects. These are a definite 10 in my book!

Absolutely amazing colors
Prismacolor 12 count botanical garden set colored pencils are very smooth pencils. These are soft and can be fragile when using or sharpen. I have to say I’m in love with the unique colors! They go smoothly onto the paper and the colors really pop out on paper. They are lightweight and fit back easy into the tin storage, I can store these anywhere or take with me on the go! The color pencils give so much of a creative choice and I’m super excited every time I use these because my coloring is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend these to everyone!

Wonderful Set
I love Prismacolor products, and these pencils are no exceptions. I love the range of colors - I own several diferent Prismacolor sets, and add to my pencil collection little by little, so this set was a great additional to diversify the colors that I already have. The texture is truly soft and it can layer on for the depth of color in a wonderful way - never presenting issues like some other products where you can't add color on top of the initial "coat" due to a bit waxy texture. Great amount of pigment - premier product for coloring!

Best artists pencils
Gave this set of pencils to my grandson who is a budding artist. He was very excited as he says these are the best pencils an artist can get. They blend wonderfully and are great for either bold lines or shading. This particular set only has 12 colors, and being the "landscape" set, the colors are selected for that type of drawing. But this is a great investment for determining whether you want to invest in a larger set of Primacolor pencils. This made it an easy decision on our part, going to buy the 72 pencil set for him now.

High quality color pencils
Pros
1. High quality pencils with soft wax core.
2. Vibrant colors and plenty of color shades. Soft core allows easy layering and blending.
3. Works best with the prismacolor sharpener (not included) which offers 2 types of tips.
Cons
1. Soft wax core - so sometimes they can break easy while sharpening. Power users will easy run thru one pencil in a few days.
2. Buying individual pencils can be expensive for power users - generally $1-$2 per pencil. Black/white/skin colors etc are needed the most.

Brings luminosity to my pieces
I adore these pencils. They feel tailor-made for floral drawings; the curation including different values of green and red provide for nearly limitless possibilities. Subtle changes in pressure during use gives buildable intensity and allows for layering of different hues for undertones and special effects. I appreciate that they come with a tin and tray divider for ease of storage and protection of the product. They're very convenient for on-the-go sketching and I never have to worry about them breaking in my bag.

Great all around set
This assortment of 36 is about all you need. The variety of colors covers makes color choice easy. It comes in a very nice tin which would be excellent for travelling.
These pencils are described as soft, but I found them to work well for all my colored pencil work. They blend well either by rubbing or with OMS. Prismacolor describes them as being primarily for blending and shading, but I was able to get very good sharp detail after some trying. I have not sharpened all of the colors but those that I did sharpened well with no breakage. This would be an excellent assortment for beginners as it is easy to get overwhelmed with large color assortments when starting out. Plus they are very easy to use and produce outstanding results. The price is very reasonable and quite a good value.

Amazing and well packaged
so first of all it is AMAZING soft , blend easily and the result is great . about the breaking issue honestly I sharpened many colors of the set many times and it didn't break not even once .
a tip before you start using your set take a hair dryer and try to move the heat all over the pencils then leave them for 15 to 30 minutes to cool down . this way you will avoid any breaking issues while sharpening your pencils .
I definitely recommend prismacolor pencils for anyone who loves to draw

Beautiful color
If your like me coloring in your adulthood is just another way to relieve stress and anxiety . The botanical garden set of color pencils give you the sweet color effect like treats and help the contrast of your photos come to life . Soft and Beautiful Colors
It is very difficult to find truly excellent pastels pencils. After years of looking for truly excellent pastels with depth of color, I found Prismacolor Botanical Garden Set. What a joy it is to have colors of depth and ease of use in art works! Each pencil fits comfortably in the hand. There is no dragging or forced pressing to bring really lovely colors to my pages. There are 12 sized pencils in shades of blue greens, pink, peach and yellow. With care these colorful pencils will go the distance. No broken tips.
The colors remain bright and with practice you can shade easily with these. A huge bonus for those of us who have struggled with adjusting intensity. The come packaged beautifully in a tin covered with a gorgeous floral art work.
I love them and highly recommend them for anyone who enjoys art.

Amazing!
I am so happy with my new Prismacolor premier thick core colored pencil set, 12-colors! The colors are beautiful! I haven’t had any broken lead problems. I have tried other brand colored pencils in the past and found that these were of much better quality. The colors are tires to what they look like they will color. I love that they come in a cute tin instead of a box that will fall apart. These work so well that I will never go back to other brand colored pencils.

Muted colors
When I recieved these colored pencils I was expecting much brighter colors. By the looks of the picture on the front, you would expect them to be really bright and vibrant, but I found them to be more muted in color. I feel like there wasn't even a very good yellow to use for the sky and sun. Other than the colors, the pencils themselves worked fine. You would just need to buy more colors to make an nice landscape. Overall, I felt like these were a little disappointing.

Each pencil has a nice solid colored led and they don't break easily and the colors are stunning!!

Awesome pencil.
My girls like to color so my wife and I join in for family conversations. We tend to compete and these have took my colorings to another level. Such vibrant colors. Goes on smoothly you don't need a lot of pressure. They don't smudge. Me being a man I really look forward to our coloring days. This is such a relaxing thing to do with my girls and wife. Its even better with quality pencils. Overall these are smooth, blend well, bright and feels good in my big hands.

I love mine!
If you like to draw or are just learning to draw in artwork these colored pencils are wonderful! Each stroke of the pencil leaves such nice lines and colors are perfect! I like that there is a spot for each pencil to stay in its holder and the aluminum tin they come in is perfect for adding your accessories in. This are the perfect soft core colors I think I’ve ever used. These are way better than my old ones I was using. The blending and shading are awesome!

Prismacolr Premier colored pencils
I received Prismacolor Premiercolor pencials for my daughter. We both are impressed with them. There is 12 under the sea colored pencils they are very beautiful colors. These colored pencils are very high quality. When my daughter colors with these they make pictures stand out with the colors .Also theses are my daughters favorite colored pencils and always uses these now when coloring.Iwould recommend these prismacolor premier colored pencils to anyone.

Amazing Quality!
All I can say is wow! Using these is a big improvement from the previous popular brand I has been using. The quality is incredible, how colors appear on the page it great. The color is more rich. My outlines are my better due to the pencil not fading is color as I apply heavier lines. I am a beginner artist, so my apologies for not knowing more technical terminology, but I really love these and recommend to anyone, whether it’s for drawing or coloring.

Great, bold colors!
I got the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, 36 Pack to help me find a good, relaxing activity after my kids go to bed. I really like these coloring pencils! They have soft and bold colors included in the set. I really like the tin and trays the pencils come in for convenient storage. There is a large, wonderful variety of colors to choose from and they color very nicely without having to press too hard. They are definitely great quality pencils!

These colored pencils are good for causal art. If you like adult coloring books or just sketching and coloring for fun, these work well enough. Again, I don't think these are for serious artists because the colors are vibrant and pretty but they do crumble a bit. For my simple, non artist purposes they work fine. Smooth and clear colors good for highlighting work or school documents or simple coloring books. And a bonus; the tin is very beautiful.

Nice pencils good variety
These have a good variety of colors and have more than the manga set pack. However these do have some of the same colors as the manga set pack. I do like the colors this set provides and they are smooth to work with and give a nice vibrant look. The lead doesn’t break easy either. I do have to color over the same area several times to get a full coverage but it’s not the worst. These are good pencils to work with. I am happy with them so far.

Smooth
I love the range of colors in this set. You need the color of Sedona’s red rocks or the color of Kentucky blue grass, they are all in this set! They do come pre-sharpened so you can try them right away. I am not an artist by any means. But I do use mixed media from time to time. I did find that these pencils didn’t so well on a laminated paper, but the surface was very slick and plastic feeling. These pencils do come in a nice, compact tin.

Smooth texture, no bumps or lumps
One of my biggest pet peeves with cheap pencil-style crayons is the consistency of the "lead". Lesser brands often have harder pieces that can tear paper and cause inconsistency in your drawing and coloring. I have never had that problem with Prismacolor. Their quality is always choice, and in years of using them, have found that it's easy to get the results you want out of your artwork with them. They are UV-resistant and I have been quite impressed with their ability to retain color in art for years even when exposed to the sun.
This set, in particular, has an excellent variety of nature-compatible hues and shades that add depth and realism to pictures. I found them to be well suited for a project that involves a depiction of classic cottage gardens. I feel comfortable recommending them to anyone who has high standards for their materials.

Simply the best!!
Prismacolor colored pencils are the best I have found. When I came across this Botanical Garden set I knew I had to add them to my arsenal. This set has every color one would need for a bright springy picture. These hold up to the same quality as all my other Prismacolor colored pencils. They go on smooth and blend wonderfully!! I have nothing negative to say about this set...they are amazing and bringing out the creativity in myself!!

All the colors !
This is a set of 36 pencils . They come in a reusable package . The colors of each one of these pencils are so beautiful ! I was thinking I would have to go out and buy a few more to complete the set but I feel like I had everything I needed to start my art project ! I am doing it on a paper canvas and these pencils are turning out to be beautiful gliders across the canvas . I have not had one break on me yet , they are well made !

Wide color range
I like the color range and the depth of these colored pencils. I didn't like that some of them come unsharpened and this kit doesn't come with a pencil sharpener. So if you don't have one that may be disappointing. They really do capture the color of maga and anima comics . This would be the perfect kit for anyone in that aesthetic. The led of each color deepens as you bare down and you can mix colors with a lighter touch.

Beautiful set!
My tween daughter is super into drawing Manga at the moment- this set is prefect for her! The colors are beautiful, and the quality is really great- to be expected from a Prismacolor set. It's also handy how the box folds open to create a stand. The pencils themselves are super smooth and good for blending, while the addition of the "Verithin" pencils is great for adding sharper details. A good buy for any budding artist!

Also in addition to the tip already posted, try using petroleum jelly to cover the area you are coloring, give it a min or 2 to absorb a little and then wipe it off completely. Now color with your prismacolors. Not only does this make the pigments so much &quot;more&quot;, but helps blending tremendously. This will also give you premier results using the scholar line.
