Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimmymoz from Beautiful colors I adore this Prismacolor set. I have a few sets, but this color combination is my favorite. The blues and greens are lovely, and normally my go to when coloring. There are also a few brighter colors, yellow, red and orange which are very nice as well. All of the colors are very pigmented and bright which is why I love Prismacolor pencils. Some other sets come with sharpeners, this one doesn't but I wish it did. My only complaint is that when using the yellow, it seems to pick up the black outline ink on my coloring pages. The others don't, just the yellow so you have to be mindful of that. Otherwise I love it and would definitely recommend.

I've never used any color pencils that come close to these. The colors are very vibrant and beautiful. They glide on so smoothly and seamlessly. They're very easy to blend and to stack color you don't even have to press hard to get good color. So if you haven't already tried prismacolor pencils your really missing out. Each pencil comes with a number and name for that color and i just found out that you can buy them individually an they do also come in different set sizes. I would love to get every color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jotatooo from Nice set of colors I thought it was an interesting idea to put a theme around a set of color pencils. It sure makes for a nice little package or gift set for someone who likes drawing manga or anime though. I tried out the various colors (see picture) and overall I'm pretty satisfied with the set. It contains 5 verithin pencils and the rest are "regular" colored pencils -- I'm really not sure what the difference between verithin and the rest are. Not as bright maybe? The "feel" of the verithins was a little different too, but I'm not sure how to describe it. Anyway, the color pencils all felt really nice and overall, I think this is a good set of quality color pencils.

It comes with 18 soft core colored pencils that are high quality pigment for rich color saturation. It draws very smoothly, blends and shades very well with no smudging. It also comes with 5 verithin colored pencils that are hard thin leads that sharpen to a fine point. They are ideal for outlining and lettering. They are perfect for manga art details like eyelashes and strands of hair. Overall I love these colored pencils! I highly recommend these pencils especially if you do alot of manga art work!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jmal1886 from So smooth and great colors! I am not much of an artist, but coloring and doodling relaxes me. I was interested in trying out some real artsy colored pencils. These did not disappoint! They were comfortable in my hand. They were so smooth, almost crayon-like, which made them a lot easier to use. I love the color variety, which you don’t normally get with standard colored pencils. I also love the storage case to keep them organized and don’t have to shove them back in a box. I would definitely recommend these colored pencils!

I was introduced to Prismacolor colored pencils in high school art class and was absolutely blown away by how much better they were than any other brand out there. They were then my go to during animation and illustration classes in college and years and years later, they are still all I will use. In addition to excellent, smooth, vibrant coverage, they blend with ease, sharpen perfectly without waste and last for years. The Botanical Garden set itself, is beyond striking with an excellent array of colors creating a perfect palette and presented in a beautiful tin for storage. I highly recommend this set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rose from Vibrant colors! My son who is very much passionate about coloring and drawing loved this prismacolor botanical garden set 12ct very much. This set has all beautiful vibrant colors. This set is very much suitable for nature themed coloring practice. My son has created beautiful artwork with these color pencils. The best part of this set is these pencils are packed in a case which gives a nice organized look and stays at one place. These are of best quality easy to sharpen. The tip of the pencils are Strong and sturdy and won’t break if pressed hard. I would recommend these prismacolor 12ct color pencils who are looking for best ones. I would definitely continue to use these color pencils.

Rated 5 out of 5 by halynaa1 from 10/10 I was afraid that with the back to school deal they might be factory seconds My 48 set a year ago came nice too but had miss aligned printing and slightly wonky cores but this set was perfect. I think the QC is gotten its footing. People have to remember that they provide pencils that really preform I notice people complaining about details that if adjusted would make PC pencils cost maybe double… that capped lacquered perfect every time pencil… it costs money. I’m glad that PC puts their energy into the core and minimizes the cost of other materials! Awesome, as expected beautiful color pencils!
