These did not disappoint! They were comfortable in my hand. They were so smooth, almost crayon-like, which made them a lot easier to use. I love the color variety, which you don’t normally get with standard colored pencils. I also love the storage case to keep them organized and don’t have to shove them back in a box. I would definitely recommend these colored pencils!

This package is large so she has a lot of color variations, giving her the ability to blend and make a more professional looking art piece that she can hang on our wall and use for her college

They blend like an absolute dream and you can layer them easily to increase the vibrancy. They feel nice and soft but at the same time very structured. They have a good feel on the page as you’re coloring. They level up my adult coloring books and make my little pages come to life. I love the tin packaging it comes in and has little black separators so you can easily store them right back in the tin. They’ve lasted me a long time. The color assortment is perfect in this pack and I never feel like there’s a color I don’t have.

My husband got these as a gift for me after I had seen a commercial on Prismacolors with soft core pencils lead work great with water color too. Or if you get the tip wet you get the same color just more intensity. Wow! I have spent several days playing and trying different techniques with great results. These are the BEST colored pencils I have ever owned. I don't let little people use these. I have another box of a less expensive brand, we use when I have "help." If you want them for coloring or you are a real artist you won't be disappointed. Except you won't want to put them away.

I've been using them for years and have purchased several sets at this point. The color variety is top notch! You can't blend another colored pencil like you can prismacolor! It's flawless and while my work here isn't the best reference, it shows how vibrant these colors are and how they blend wonderfully. These are durable pencils and last for years with the occasional single color replacement. I've never found a better colored pencil and live working with these. I would recommend not leaving them in your car on a hot day because it can cause breakage, but if you are on the fence, hop on over because these are amazing!

I was introduced to Prismacolor colored pencils in high school art class and was absolutely blown away by how much better they were than any other brand out there. They were then my go to during animation and illustration classes in college and years and years later, they are still all I will use. In addition to excellent, smooth, vibrant coverage, they blend with ease, sharpen perfectly without waste and last for years. The Botanical Garden set itself, is beyond striking with an excellent array of colors creating a perfect palette and presented in a beautiful tin for storage. I highly recommend this set!

I bought the set of 24 vibrant colors when I started high school and wanted to get into art! Four years later I treated myself to the 48 pencil set when I started art college and this 150 set when I passed my midterm! I then gifted my original 24set to my mum who's a teacher, and now a whole new generation gets to love them! I always recommend Prismacolor to my art friends as it's easily my favorite art supply I have in my arsenal. The pencils are really soft and super easy to blend which I love. It's also rich and doesn't take much effort to create something beautiful with it.

This set has all beautiful vibrant colors. This set is very much suitable for nature themed coloring practice. My son has created beautiful artwork with these color pencils. The best part of this set is these pencils are packed in a case which gives a nice organized look and stays at one place. These are of best quality easy to sharpen. The tip of the pencils are Strong and sturdy and won’t break if pressed hard. I would recommend these prismacolor 12ct color pencils who are looking for best ones. I would definitely continue to use these color pencils.

I’ve been drawing for years and I will always chose Prismacolor colored pencils for my art. I think the QC is gotten its footing. People have to remember that they provide pencils that really preform I notice people complaining about details that if adjusted would make PC pencils cost maybe double… that capped lacquered perfect every time pencil… it costs money. I’m glad that PC puts their energy into the core and minimizes the cost of other materials! Awesome, as expected beautiful color pencils!

With a great range of colors you shouldn't need anything else, but if you feel as though you do or you use or lose one, you can always buy them individually to add to your set. The colors are vivid and go on smooth with little effort. The only complaint I have heard with these is that they go on a bit too easy. They are pretty soft so you do have to use a light hand in order to get soft colors but I have never had a problem with this. They blend beautifully and the blender works wonders or the white one will work amazing too. They also can be layered with out resisting like some colored pencils. Over all some of the best color pencils I've used.

I was a little hesitant with his products because I wasn’t sure if the colors really show through but I have to say I am really surprised at how well the colors translate to paper. For my boyWho likes to color and draw action heroes these colors allow him the ability to draw characters without becoming frustrated because the green is in green enough or that the colors aren’t the kind of colors that he wants that makes sense. The colors are super vibrant and they really do well on all different color papers I’m like super surprised about how well these these pencils work. Definitely will not be going back to our traditional color pencils definitely will be sticking with these going forward.

This pack of colored pencils was super eye-catching and happened to be on sale, so I bought a back. They work so well and happen to be easily built up and have a ton of wonderful colors. They blend very well and allowed me to make the piece I attached. I made that a couple of years ago, so I don't have a photo of the colored pencils lying around just the art i made with them and happened to post to my old Instagram. But they're awesome, i promise, I tried dipping them in water, and they start giving off watercolor vibes. It also takes a lot less work to build them up that way. I highly recommend them.

Sturdy and well made pencils, sometimes I try to go cheap on the art supplies because the kids go through it quickly but it definitely made a difference to get these high quality colored pencils. The kids didn't have to press down as hard to make the colors show up well and overall just a quality product. I'll definitely purchase from prismacolor again. I got both the under the seal and the landscape colors so my kids could each have a set and not fight over them.

They are the perfect size. I love how comfortable they fit in my hand. I can use them for extended periods and not have my hand/fingers cramp . These colored pencils glide so smoothly on the paper. I am able to make great shading (colors) with these pencils. I absolutely love these colored pencils . I would definitely recommend these colored pencils to anybody looking for a really great set that don’t break the bank . I will absolutely be buying me some more of these set for me and my kids who love to color . These colored pencils definitely bring your art piece to the next level.

This is not Crayola quality. These do not draw on paper like a pencil. These are tools that will open your world to a different way of coloring or creating your own art. They blend perfectly, you can create different looks with the pressure you use… you can take your finger & blend these. The color is so vibrant & pigmented. These are soft & buttery. You can use them along with markers or paint to give texture in your art, or all on their own.

The Under The Sea colored pencils are the colors you will find in the bottom of the ocean which is cool. I absolutely love the ocean & the sea animals so I was really excited for this set of pencils. They are very bright & beautiful colors. They are just like regular colored pencils, you can draw and color them with anything. You don’t specifically have to use the colors for sea pictures, just get creative & color your own way using the Under the Sea pencils. They come in a little tin so they can stay in perfect condition & plus it’s perfect for traveling. It’s very lightweight as well. I highly recommend this product.

I would never pay this much for pencils as I’m more of a digital artist, but they fell into my hands. They’re smooth like butter and the brightest you’ll find. Like literally as bright as the pencil itself. They also blend like no other pencil I’ve tried. I prefer the student version at a cheaper price that has a slightly off texture. They’re the mess ups sold for less. Still better than the vast majority of colored pencils. Go for that if you need cheap, but good. Good, but not the best. Definitely go student ones for beginners.

They are finicky when it comes to sharpening, but using a sharpener made for these greatly reduces breakage. They work great on their own or in combination with marker. I highly suggest using good paper with these that will allow you to get multiple layers down and really take advantage of the blending capabilities of these pencils. They last a long time and for me they were 100% worth the investment. I was never able to find a cheaper brand that comes anywhere close to these.

Prismacolor colored pencils are often the first artist/professional grade colored pencils artists are introduced to. They are very good overall. They are soft and don’t hold their point as well as some harder pencils but their blend ability make them great for burnishing. I particularly like them when I use drafting film as my substrate. They have a ton of colors, are available on Amazon, and are easy to use. I highly recommend them especially for artists just starting out. The artwork attached is mine using prismacolor.

These colored pencils have superb color and are so easy to use. The pencils are light, fit your hand well and have wonderful coverage with minimal pressure. I have many different artistic projects that I want the best color choices for and these fit the bill perfectly! It's easy to let your imagination soar when you have superior products available to help you create beautiful projects. These are a definite 10 in my book!

There's a million colors which opens so many doors for new creations. They are high quality and firm. They sharpen well.. they don't crack or break. They are beautiful in layering. They do have a waxy finish. I personally love the different trays within the box so you can keep it organized. The packaging is pretty. Of all my art supplies it's the only ones packaging I have kept. Not to mention it's long lasting. I've had my set for many years and it's still getting used, I imagine I'll use them for many years to come! If you're on the fence, just know that this is quality. You won't buy another set of colored pencils for a decade.. this is quality.

I took them from high school doodles to high-end portrait commissions. They offer high pigmentation and are blendable even on top of several layers. They might look expensive compared to grocery store pencils, but they will last you years, won’t break, stay colorfast, and are much easier to use. I built my collection over time, because Prismacolor sells individual pencils. This is important when you need to replace just one pencil! Personally I am not a fan of the packaging. The tin is nice but the plastic inserts are flimsy. I put my pencils into a case with individual slots, so they’re all viewable at once. I’ve made beautiful things with these pencils and I am never going to stop.

I must've read and watched reviews for about 20 different brands, and eventually, I landed on these. The storage case these pencils come in is great quality and very handy. I like that I didn't have to buy something separate to store them in. The pencils themselves arrived in perfect condition. I did see some reviews saying that a few pencils came damaged, but this wasn't the case for me. The colors are vivid and they blend beautifully. There's even a reference sheet that comes inside the case so you can swatch your pencils which my husband and I both thought was really cool. He loves his new pencils and we are both very satisfied. No complaints!

Prismacolor Premier&reg; Soft Core Colored Pencils are designed primarily for use on paper and other traditional art surfaces, such as wood or illustration board. While they can technically be applied to fabric, it&rsquo;s better to use specialized fabric markers or paints which are designed to be permanent and colorfast on fabric.
