Okay but definitely not even close to being the best for your money
I used Prismacolor Premiers for quite a while and thought they were fine but once I tried Bruynzeel's colored pencil line I immediately abandoned Prismacolors. Prismacolors are extremely waxy with subpar pigmentation in comparison. If I were you I would avoid buying them and just invest in better pencils made by Bruynzeel. They are vastly superior to Prismacolor. I now have doubles of every Prismacolor Premier pencil ever made just sitting in a box on my shelf gathering dust.

In my opinion, best colored pencils to use as an adult who enjoys coloring.
After being introduced to Prismacolors, I cannot use anything else. They blend well together and the Pigmentation makes them very smooth. I love this set as I like to use a variety of colors to make my pictures pop. I personally do not use the packaging they came in as I have a pencil case that helps me hold necessary tools to make the best picture possible. Just try not to drop them or you'll find yourself with a broken pencil that won't sharpen bc of all the broken pieces.

They have smooth aplication, vibrant colors, amd are easy to use, but also have slight quality/quality control issues
They're a great line of pencils to start off with or even for artist that are more experienced. I love how smooth they lay and also the vibrancy of the colors. But an issue i had was a few of my pencils had cores that were off center, leading to constant breakage. Other than that they held a decent point, and were great to use. Over time, the plastic trays tended to break and wear, but overall i would recommend these for anybody looking to get a good set at a decent price

Love love love
I like to color with either a combo of markers and prismacolor pencils or just prismacolor pencils. They are definitely a higher end set of pencils but are more reasonably priced. There is a wide variety of colors and shades. They are highly buildable and bendable on their own but I personally use a colorless blender by prismacolor (sold separately) to save my pencils. These are also soft so you can't be pressing too hard or you will break the lead a lot. Highly recommended.

Soft and Beautiful Colors
It is very difficult to find truly excellent pastels pencils. After years of looking for truly excellent pastels with depth of color, I found Prismacolor Botanical Garden Set. What a joy it is to have colors of depth and ease of use in art works! Each pencil fits comfortably in the hand. There is no dragging or forced pressing to bring really lovely colors to my pages. There are 12 sized pencils in shades of blue greens, pink, peach and yellow. With care these colorful pencils will go the distance. No broken tips.
The colors remain bright and with practice you can shade easily with these. A huge bonus for those of us who have struggled with adjusting intensity. The come packaged beautifully in a tin covered with a gorgeous floral art work.
I love them and highly recommend them for anyone who enjoys art.

Amazing!
I am so happy with my new Prismacolor premier thick core colored pencil set, 12-colors! The colors are beautiful! I haven’t had any broken lead problems. I have tried other brand colored pencils in the past and found that these were of much better quality. The colors are tires to what they look like they will color. I love that they come in a cute tin instead of a box that will fall apart. These work so well that I will never go back to other brand colored pencils.

I absolutely LOVE my set of Prisma PC1150 Premier colored pencils! The range of 150 vibrant colors is incredible, and they blend so smoothly. Absolutely in love with Prism Color
I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but Prism Color blew me away. The pigmentation is gorgeous, super vibrant, and it lasts all day without fading. What I love most is how smooth and blendable it is — no patchiness at all. The colors look even better in real life than in the pictures, and they work beautifully on my skin tone. I’ve gotten so many compliments since I started using it! Totally worth it. Will definitely be repurchasing and trying more shades!

Muted colors
When I recieved these colored pencils I was expecting much brighter colors. By the looks of the picture on the front, you would expect them to be really bright and vibrant, but I found them to be more muted in color. I feel like there wasn't even a very good yellow to use for the sky and sun. Other than the colors, the pencils themselves worked fine. You would just need to buy more colors to make an nice landscape. Overall, I felt like these were a little disappointing.

Awesome pencil.
My girls like to color so my wife and I join in for family conversations. We tend to compete and these have took my colorings to another level. Such vibrant colors. Goes on smoothly you don't need a lot of pressure. They don't smudge. Me being a man I really look forward to our coloring days. This is such a relaxing thing to do with my girls and wife. Its even better with quality pencils. Overall these are smooth, blend well, bright and feels good in my big hands.

Prismacolor - The BEST colored pencils for all skill levels!
Prismacolor Colored Pencils are vibrant and they blend like a dream! The durability of the pencils themselves are perfect for beginners & experts alike. The quality of Prismacolor Colored Pencils is unmatched by other brands in my opinion. Cheaper pencils use more binder and less pigment whereas a professional-grade pencil such as Prismacolor Colored Pencils have a high amount of pigment. I love mine!
If you like to draw or are just learning to draw in artwork these colored pencils are wonderful! Each stroke of the pencil leaves such nice lines and colors are perfect! I like that there is a spot for each pencil to stay in its holder and the aluminum tin they come in is perfect for adding your accessories in. This are the perfect soft core colors I think I’ve ever used. These are way better than my old ones I was using. The blending and shading are awesome!

But it demands a gentle hand: press too hard or sharpen roughly, and you risk breakage or inconsistency.

The best colored pencils you can get!
When I was an art student, these were the only colored pencils that were of high enough quality for any of the assignments, as well as any commissions I had that were requested in colored pencils. They are smooth, buttery and vibrant colors, and you can even purchase a colored pencil blender from prismacolor which is an amazing tool for coloring and blending softly. I highly recommend using these whether you are a hobby artist, a student or a professional!

I received Prismacolor Premiercolor pencials for my daughter. We both are impressed with them. There is 12 under the sea colored pencils they are very beautiful colors. Awesome Pencils!
I have been using this brand of colored pencils for almost two decades, and there is no competition. The colors are vibrant, opaque, and so easy to blend! When used properly, they don't leave any kind of lines or streaks behind like other brands do. People are always amazed when I tell them I use colored pencils, not paint, to create my images! I received the 150 piece set as a Christmas gift a few years back, and it remains one of my prized possessions.

One of the last gifts my grandma gave me before she passed, I have had this set for almost 7 years. There have been certain pencils I've had to replace that I use more than others, especially white for blending, but there's so many shades of colors in here that it's great. The premiers are a way better quality than the scholars, and the price point shows, but if you're serious about using colored pencils in your art it's definitely worth the investment.

Amazing Quality!
All I can say is wow! Using these is a big improvement from the previous popular brand I has been using. The quality is incredible, how colors appear on the page it great. The color is more rich. My outlines are my better due to the pencil not fading is color as I apply heavier lines. I am a beginner artist, so my apologies for not knowing more technical terminology, but I really love these and recommend to anyone, whether it’s for drawing or coloring.

I got the Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, 36 Pack to help me find a good, relaxing activity after my kids go to bed. I really like these coloring pencils! They have soft and bold colors included in the set. I really like the tin and trays the pencils come in for convenient storage. There is a large, wonderful variety of colors to choose from and they color very nicely without having to press too hard. They are definitely great quality pencils!

These Prismacolors colored pencils are my favorite for journaling and adult coloring. They are quite pricey, but they are worth every penny. They are far supreme when compared to less expensive colored pencils. The pencils are very pigmented, with many bright colors. The packaging makes sense and is very user friendly. This box of 150 pencils has a large variety of shades and colors. These pencils are extremely durable and should last a long time.

These colored pencils are good for causal art. If you like adult coloring books or just sketching and coloring for fun, these work well enough. Again, I don't think these are for serious artists because the colors are vibrant and pretty but they do crumble a bit. For my simple, non artist purposes they work fine. Smooth and clear colors good for highlighting work or school documents or simple coloring books. And a bonus; the tin is very beautiful.

Recently purchased premiere set 150. Why are they so thin? Bought from Amazon. My last batch were much thicker. And, why am I paying 10.00 for one pencil from Amazon? Thank you.
