Excellent for beginners
I love this Prismacolor Level 1 Drawing and Shading set! I’m new to this and so glad there’s digital lessons for a newbie like myself! I’ve started to develop skills and am starting to feel more comfortable learning the basics of sketching and shading! This set really has everything I need to follow along, such as many shades of colored pencils, eraser, sharpener, drawing pads, graphite pencil, and illustration marker! Great beginners kit!
I love this kit! It's a perfect set for beginners. The online lessons are perfect and walk you thru each step and shows you how to use the included art supplies to create your very own masterpiece. The kit includes online lessons as well as 18 colored pencils, 2 illustration markers, 1 turquoise graphite pencil, magic rub eraser, sharpener, as well as a drawing pad and drawing template. A great tool for enthusiastic beginners
I have a teen who has been interested in making art since he was tiny. He's developed a lot of skill over the years, but without much tailored guidance. This was a perfect surprise gift to give him both the art supplies to work on his portraiture and non-pressured expert help to get better (Mom is too much of a critic, maybe?). We love Prismacolor's products and have bought many over the years; this is a great addition to our art supplies and efforts.

Wonderful Set
I really wanted to get this for my teenage son who needed in on a new hobby. Something soothing and relaxing for him and he has been showing interest in realism drawings.
I went ahead and got him Prismacolor Portrait level one and my son is really enjoying it!
I really like that he has the ability to go online and get a digital lesson because he's able to learn at his own pace and take it step by step, so having that option available is extremely helpful. He's learning as he goes.
The pencils included in the kit are really good quality and with the online lessons my son is learning to use them appropriately, lightly where needed, a little more pressure when needed etc.
The template included in this set is helpful for the outline of the portrait itself.
While he's taking his time and has drawn several portraits, his trait is improving with the help of Prismacolor.

Great Kit for Artists
I got this kit for my teenage daughter. The kit has colored pencils, Drawing pad, Templates and so much more.
I think it is a great value because of all of the materials included. In addition, the kit also came with online lessons, but my daughter chose not to make use of the lessons. I think this is a good kit for advanced beginners and Intermediate Artists. I would definitely recommend and purchase again.

Prismacolor Technique Portrait Drawing Art Set, with Digital Lessons, Level 1 is great for anyone who is beginning/ learning to draw. Our 13 year old loves it and has been using it since we got it. It does come with one digital lesson which is great. She has been doing a lot of sketches/drawing after she gets her homework done. This has been a great investment for her and can't wait to move to the next level.

Drawing Kit
I have been looking to get more into drawing lately and at first I started with YouTube videos and things like that, and I really couldn't get the hang of it. This kit comes with everything you need, including paper and video instructions, to start portrait drawing. It was so helpful to be able to pause the video and refer to the paper whenever I was stuck. The instructions were perfect for beginners.

Fantastic Beginner Art Set!
I got this Prismacolor-Portrait Drawing Art Set to try because I can’t draw anything. I have always envied people who have this talent. I love the fact that it also lets you learn to draw animals and landscapes. The on-line lessons are great. It gives you a good selection of colored pencils for shading and everything you need is in the set so you are entirely ready to begin to learn to draw.

I Really Like This Set!
I really like this set! Prismacolor pencils are my favorite, and this set does not disappoint. They blend so nicely and make shading easy. It comes with everything you need to get up and drawing, 18 pencils, eraser, sharpener, drawing pad and pencil, markers as well as directions and a template. I was never good at drawing portraits before, but this helps so much!

So much fun!
The online lessons are easy to follow, and the process is so much fun! My 13-year-old and I love to draw, and these videos gave us new techniques that have improved our drawing. Before my online lessons, my shading was very weak. After going through the lessons, I now understand how to apply great methods that have completely transformed my artwork.

Portraits 101
Nice art set! I am an average artist and I find portraits pretty hard to draw, so this set is right up my alley because it for beginners/level 1. It includes everything you need to get started and the online videos are super helpful and easy to to follow. This would make a great gift for anyone who likes to draw. Definitely worth the price!

Love the colors!
I absolutely love the colors for this art set! It has several neutral skin tone colors and several harder to find colors. I like drawing portraits and this set makes my art look so professional. It does come with lessons also and I have learned new techniques from the lessons. I highly recommended it for artists who like to draw portraits!

I've always loved Prismacolor and this product holds up to their reputation. Everything feels really nice quality, especially the colored pencil. I think this kit offers a great range of supplies to get started on portrait drawing, and has motivated me to get back into drawing again! Also would be a great gift for someone who's into art.

I got this for my 13yo teenage daughter, and she liked it well enough. She's a decent artist, but not great with portraits and the like. She thought it was a good lesson, but found having to do the digital aspect of it slightly tedious. Not hard, but the extra effort of it all. That could be her age playing a part in it though.

Easy to follow along . Going through the different steps I was able to learn a lot of different techniques that I do not know about and within my art. I definitely felt that this is a great tool when looking at different ways of drawing too and learning how to drawl. I would definitely recommend this product and will get more.

Great art lesson
My daughter is amazing at art and does really good portraits so she was able to follow along with the lessons, while still learning new techniques. It comes with soft core colored pencils perfect for portraits. I think she will face these lessons quickly, so I may have to get her the next level.

I got The Prismacolor Technique Portrait Drawing Art Set in the Digital Lessons, Level 1 for my daughter. They are still cooped up from covid and i am trying to find things for them to experience inside that is fun and different. this can give them a skill as well as entertain them.

This portrait drawing art set is ok. The colored pencils that come with the set are decent quality. It would be nice if there was a bigger selection of colors.
I do not like that you have to go online for the drawing lessons. I would have rather had an instruction book for that.

Super fun and easy!
These lessons were a really great time. They were quick while also still giving all the necessary information to complete the task. I think it gave me a good basic foundation to try my hand out as some drawing and shading of portraits, and I hope to continue learning after this.

I think this set is good for someone who is a teenager/ and or adult it may be a tad too difficult for kids to complete but for a teenager and up it's great to start your drawing journey. Its easy to follow and helpful and also a fun activity to do in your free time.
