So smooth
This set comes with a sketchpad, 18 colored pencils, a drawing pencil, a "Magic Rub" eraser, a small handheld sharpener, and two fine line markers (size 03 and 005). As always PrismaColors are very vibrant and smooth. I love them! Granted this particular set has muted tones since the tutorial is for a fox (so more natural colors), they are still smooth and fun to draw with. The tutorial is accessed online. It shows you how to draw a fox. It takes you through step by step. It also shows you how to draw various shading techniques, like cross hatching. This was a bit amateur for my son who draws quite a bit, but could be good for a true beginner. The colors are really great.

Easy to follow instructions
Got this for our 16 year old son. He loves to draw and color. He was so excited to get this kit. It comes with everything your artist needs to get started. The step by step instructions and the videos are awesome. It's like having your own drawing teacher at your finger tips. I love that they have different sets for different levels of artists!! So from beginners to advanced, they have sets and videos for all levels!! This is really something he enjoys and may just be worth continuing to purchase and watch him grow his talent!!!

Amazing I definitely need extra practice
This is absolutely amazing I've always wanted to draw and have never been able to just not something I was gifted in like I failed art class all through school is how terrible I am but I've never wanted to be so when I seen this I decided to try it it's so easy to understand I thought it would be difficult it's not I need a lot more practice I'm going to have to go through that class A few times just because I seriously suck at anything artistic but you could actually tell what my picture was so I'm going to do it again and I expect my results will be much better I think I was just super nervous as well I can't wait to go to level two I highly recommend this to everyone who wants to learn to draw or who wants to be better at drawing this is an amazing program

Level 1 learn to draw and shade
My daughter loves to draw and when I saw this I know I needed to get it for her. This is the Level 1, learn to draw and shade kit. I like the fact that everything is included in this kit to get her started. The pencils are high quality, vibrant and move smoothly on the paper. She can watch the videos on her time and go back when she needs to to re-watch each time to get better at a certain area that she may have not gotten just yet.. Once she has mastered level 1, we can move on thru the different levels.

Entertaining and enjoyable!
My teenage son has recently been exploring his artistic skills. I’ve watched him enjoy this Prismacolor Technique Level 1 Animals art kit for the past several weeks. He is a passionate animal lover so he’s very pleased to learn how to draw the various animals that he loves. The quality of the materials and ease of instruction are wonderful. I look forward to purchasing more Prismacolor products for him in the future and definitely recommend this product to others!

Awesome color pencils drawing pad
I bought this prismacolor technique mix 26 count level 1 animals for my daughter and she loves to draw and when I saw this I figured it would be the perfect product for her and it contains colored pencils a mini sharpener a rubber eraser drawing template and online lesson and she just love this she is improving in her drawings so much I am so proud of her and if you have a child and love to draw I think you should definitely look into getting this product.

great for beginners
I received the prismacolor level 1 animals art kits from tryit sampling for my honest review. This is a great drawing set for beginners. You have a teacher who shows you how to use the art supplies so you can create your masterpiece. Directions are great and easy to follow. Awesome set of supplies including pencils, sharpener, eraser and drawing pad. I can't wait to get to the next level.

I could not get decent help with accessing these online lessons even by calling the support number. It would not let me create an account. Would not recommend this method of learning if it is not easy to access the lessons.

My son received this as a Christmas gift frim grandparents. They live in the U.S., and we live in Canada. He was so disappointed to find out he can't do the inline lessons in Canada. There is absolutely no indication if this on the box. Help!

After purchasing this in the Netherlands, I simply find out the QR code does not work in the Netherlands. THe page gives me the opportunity to request access in my region, but that request cannot be submitted, making the box virtually useless.
