Rated 4 out of 5 by notHolly from Great in Some Ways, Okay in Others Let me start by saying I'm just starting to learn Hand Lettering. Prismacolor has always been my preferred brand of art pencils so naturally I gravitated to this set. I love the wide range of markers it offers, as well as the pencils and eraser that are included. This set is really versatile! The ink is thick, dark and evenly flows. It looks beautiful on paper. Perhaps I went wrong getting an "Advanced Set" and the things I didn't like about these markers will be resolved with more practice? I did find that the more I worked with them, the better I understood how to use each pen and the better the outcome. That being said, the ink on these seem to feather more than I expected. Again, this improved with practice but even now I see feathering from the ink even when I can get the lines more even than before. I'm going to keep practicing and try different papers to see if that helps.

The instructions on how to do proper lettering was a little disappointing. I feel like it could have been a lot more detailed. The overall product is great. The markers make really smooth designs and don't pool up fast unless you really bare down on them. I would buy them again.

I personally am a fan of the fine point fine lining pens. All of the products in this set are high quality, long lasting, and durable. Rated 5 out of 5 by Sammy1234 from A nice gift for a budding artist. This set includes 2 graphite pencils (2H and 2B), 7 illustration markers (chisel, brush, 005, 01, 03, 05 and 08). It also includes two dual ended markers (chisel/fine tip and brush/fine tip). There is a kneaded eraser included as well. I really enjoyed writing with these markers, particularly the brush tip and chisel tips. The markers dry quickly, don’t smear, and they don’t bleed through the paper.

This set is good quality and includes everything you need from a pencil to sketch with and heavy duty eraser to colored dual tip markers and a heavy duty black. My daughter and I played around with them while making a birthday card and the markers worked well. I do wish that the information pamphlet included gave a little more instruction and examples. I also wish that the set had a red marker.

While watching some videos and tips on hand lettering, using these pens have opened my creativity, as well as my children who tried it. The product is bright and appealing to the eye, and is very well made. Would definitely recommend this to others and I will also look into the other options by Prismacolor.

They work well and have limitless possibilities. I do a lot of bullet journaling, and this set is perfect for that. Very high quality and the perfect set for beginners. Great for scrapbooking, handmade cards and anything you want to add a personal touch to. Very highly recommended!

The markers included are nice and vibrant, and the color saturates very well. three different types of markers included are really cool and create some awesome effects. It come with 13 pieces pencils markers and pens also a ereaser. They are very high quality pen pencils and markers. They write really well and very professional. The do not smudge also the ereaser works really good if you make a mistake. I would recommend these prismacolor brush lettering kit to anyone.

My daughter loves calligraphy so this was a natural extension. The tips and tricks pamphlet provided was fun and easy to play with. Keep us busy writing thank you notes and Christmas cards over this pandemic holiday. Pens are of great quality with many different tips to write with.

I love all the options, but for me, having all of these options might be a bit too advanced for my skill level. For the price however, I don't feel bad if I misuse or mess one of the markers up. It is nice to have the tools as I advance however.

This kit came with a great beginner guide and all of the pieces I needed to get started. I just started a bullet journal and now I can start using this kit to practice right along as I also get used to the bullet journal. I will definitely need to keep practicing, but this kit is a great starting point.

Comes with 2 graphite pencils and 1 eraser for sketching, 7 illustration markers in various sizes, and 2 art markers. All in black, great for lettering and illustrating. Also includes a little booklet with hand lettering tips which didn't really show much, but that's what youtube is for. This would make a great gift as well.

The pack varies from pencils to bold markers. I liked the tip booklet it has been very beneficial and given me a base line to start. The markers are each unique bold fine point and angles. These products give me a chance to express myself and continue to be artistic.

All the pens write smooth and have great color! The multiple sizes offered have been very useful in large and small lettering. The pencils have been very handy to draft my designs.
