Great for a beginner!
I have always wanted to get into hand lettering and write my own fancy greeting cards and do fancy journaling. This set will allow you the possibility of that, but it won’t make it a reality…that takes practice. Lots of practice. I am terrible at hand lettering, because I am not a patient person. This set is great, though, with rich inks and everything you need to trace and practice and learn how to be a great hand lettering artist…the only thing it can’t do for the user is make the letters. I wish it could, because then it would be perfect. Until I can turn my pens and markers correctly and make the perfect lines, I’ll continue to practice. It’s harder than it looks in all the tutorials…at least it is for me. Maybe I am just not meant to be a fancy hand lettering person, but at least I have the tools to fake it until I can make it. Until I can write pretty one day, I’ll use the finer pens and pencils for drawing and detail work in sketches. This is a great pen/marker/pencil set for the money, so it’s worth investing. Just remember that you also have to invest time and energy… and patience is also very much needed.

Great kit
Great set, lots of tips which is helpful. My friend and I got these to use when practicing calligraphy. Also great for drawing. Quality has held up nice as well.
