I have had this sharpener for over a year. it has lasted a long time and it is still in perfect condition! it has two options for sharpening. it is super easy to sharper it only takes about 2-3 turns to be fully sharpened!! great for color pencil drawings with small details:)

Portable and easy to use
I bought this at my college bookstore and I loved this product, it sharpens my prisma colored pencils so nicely and it makes them very sharp vs other sharpeners I’ve used where my prisma colors would break the moment I finished sharpening them.

Pencil sharpener
Works well sharpening colored pencils. I imagine over time the lid will probably wear out and fall off. That won't prevent use though, and it holds plenty of shavings. I'm still wondering what the smaller sharpener would be useful for.

Perfect pair for your Prismacolor pencils
I've tried several pencil sharpens over the years and have had a range of issues where the core simply crumbles. That is not the care with the Prismacolor pencil sharpener. This made to pair perfectly, and is comfortable in your hand.

Smooth and easy!
Smooth sharpening with two point options for a long or smaller point. Holds lots of shavings so you can sharpen a lot of pencils before you have to get up and empty it! I’ve used mine a lot and it still sharpens perfectly!

For this back to school season I recommend buying your kids a Prismacolor brand Premiere Pencil Sharpener to keep at their desk. It's also great to have for arts and crafts time to sharpen coloring pencils and crayons.

I’ve had a few of these. I usually lose them, which is why I’d have to buy so many . If they break it’s usually the sharpers cap falling off. But it’s still usable. These are honestly really good sharpeners.

To empty the shavings, simply remove the clear shavings reservoir by gently pulling it away from the sharpener body, it should slide out smoothly. Once removed, you can dump the shavings into the trash and then slide the reservoir back into place until it clicks securely. To empty the shavings, gently pull the transparent shavings tray straight out from the base of the sharpener. Once removed, you can discard the contents and then slide the tray back into place until it clicks securely. This design makes it easy to keep your workspace clean while using the sharpener.
