What they don't say is... the &quot;cap&quot; includes the top down to just below the indentation and the squeezed pressure is nearly beyond what my thumb can produce and directed in an upwards motion! The entire top 3/4&quot; including the blade unit comes out in one piece, not just the cover piece.

Pop the top part off with the sharpener and there is a chamber in there to empty. Best sharpener for Prismacolor pencils.

How to get the sharpener to not skip. I can feel it kind of skips as I sharpen, when I finish &amp; remove my pencil, there is a big chunk taken out of the wood which often allows breakage &amp; eats up my pencils. How can I fix this? Thanks.
