Whenever you draw a reflection (especially in water) I find that it looks more realistic if you use either sharper or less distinct coloration. With bright colors make it sharper, like with the sun. If you want to make it softer, just add a few touches of white, but not enough to make the color too much lighter so it doesn't look as colorful. Also remember, water isn't always exactly blue.
